Our Reservations Team, or Vacation Planners as we refer to them, are often a guests first encounter with Southern, other than perhaps our website. These individuals are not only highly trained sales professionals, but are also dedicated to serving the needs of our guests. Many have been with Southern for ten+ years and have even developed a committed following of guests who call to reserve their vacations especially with them year after year.
Each community served by Southern offers a local office that is staffed by highly trained agents ready to serve each guest. Our on-site hospitality team is available 24/7 to answer questions, as well as tend to guests’ needs such as providing local recommendations for activities and dining, as well as area directions and more.
GoSouthern App/Guest Portal
Southern offers the GoSouthern App, a tailored mobile app and web portal provide each guests, free of charge to owners or guests. This app is equipped with everything from rental information and tips on what to pack to arrival instructions, door codes and local recommendations. This app also offers an easy and convenient way to communicate with staff, make requests and check-out via their smart phone.
Southern Perks, local discounts available exclusively to Southern guests, is another no-cost advantage to joining the Southern family. These perks include deals on attractions such as charter fishing, water sports and parasailing, as well as dining, shopping and area services. Provided at no additional cost to our guests or owners, Southern Perks are redeemed by showing a Southern reservation confirmation or the applicable code found in our mobile app and web portal.
PEACE OF MIND PROTECTION
With every reservation, Southern guests pay a service fee which includes our Peace of Mind protection plan. This plan provides damage waiver coverage for up to $2,000 for reported, accidental property damage sustained while the guest is in house. The Peace of Mind protection plan allows us to maintain guest relations, to keep the property in the best possible condition and to remedy accidental damage covered by the plan at no cost to our owners.
