Summary: The Common Area Attendant is responsible for, but not limited to, cleaning and upkeep of all public spaces and areas within and outside of the resort and must be up to resort standards.
- Must know all of the standards, policies, and procedures within the department.
- Have knowledge of services, activities, and outlets of the resort.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Report to work on time, well-groomed in the correct uniform worn to standard, with name tag worn correctly.
- Use correct chemicals in the correct bottles for the appropriate surfaces according to OSHA regulations.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
